Jason Aldean’s Coming to a City near you

Just Announced! Jason Aldean’s Coming to a City near you.

 “Burn It Down Tour 2015”

Did Your city make the TOP 23?

The tour is doing well, so you want to expand it and hit some cities that you didn’t hit on the first leg of it — that’s the biggest thing,” Aldean tells us. “Every year you try to hit the major markets, for the most part. We were able to do that, but there were a few places we weren’t able to hit on this run.”

The second leg of the tour will give the Georgia native a chance to change up his set list a bit and find new ways to connect with his audience. “The people who think they have the worst seats, we’re trying to figure out how to try to make them feel like they’re on stage with us,” he says. “We want to make everybody there feel like they’re in the front row.”

The tour extension is another proverbial feather in Aldean’s cowboy hat this month, which also saw his Old Boots, New Dirt album hit Number One on the Billboard 200 chart. Additionally, the album broke the record for most first-day and first-week streams by a country album ever on Spotify. And this week, the project’s first single, “Burnin’ it Down,” tops both theBillboard Country Airplay and Mediabase radio charts.

“All and all, it’s been a pretty good week,” he says with a laugh. “When anybody puts out an album, it’s a roll of the dice. We didn’t really know what to expect.”

In the end, Aldean had nothing to worry about. The album is every bit as on fire as the tour, a live production that features more pyrotechnics than he’s used in the past. And he’s found out the hard way that flames are a bit of a job hazard.

“With the Burn It Down Tour, we wanted to incorporate a lot of fire in the show, which we did,” he said. “It was a little bit of a learning process. I’ve got a few eyelashes almost singed off a couple of times.”
