Vince Young will Tryout for the Cleveland Browns. GM Ray Farmer of  the Cleveland Browns said, we have brought in two veteran quarterbacks for the team’s mini camp this week.

Reports surfaced Monday morning that Vince Young was being brought in for a tryout. Ray Farmer was asked if that was true.

“That is https://hendersonvilleonline.com00 percent true,” Ray Farmer said. “We had some interest in Vince Ypung. He has been productive and has had success in the National Football League. We wanted to take the opportunity to see where he was. We had been following him in the offseason.

“With minicamp, the timing was right,” he said. “But, he’s not the only one. Tyler Thigpen will also be here, as well.”

Vince Young is currently a free agent. Young was drafted by the Tennessee Titans with the third overall pick in the 2006 NFL Draft. He spent the first five seasons of his career with the Titans. In his rookie season, Vince Young was named the NFL Offensive Rookie of the Year and was invited to join the AFC Pro Bowl team after San Diego’s Philip Rivers had to pull out because of an injury and other quarterbacks either declined the invitation or were injured. In 2009, Young earned his second Pro Bowl Selection and was named Sporting News NFL Comeback Player of the Year.
